I waited for hours and was charged $500 to fix the problem and the next day after service, problem still isn’t fixed.

On my recommendation my step father took a 2016 Chevy Colorado truck here (13215 Briar Forest Dr) for a pre purchase inspection. Paid the cost of roughly $150 for a piece of mind. The general manger told us she could get us in right away which was great as the potential seller was with us & was on a time crunch. She said they could be done in about 45-55 minutes. It took about 45 minutes just to get the vehicle in the shop. Frustrating but understandable. I personally walked back to just get an idea of progress & spoke with everyone involved about what exactly they’d be covering. I was told several times the entire vehicle head to toe. Roughly an hour & a half to two hours later once the work was finally done we were told that the vehicle had no issues & was flawless from top to bottom. That should be a relief but given that I’ve had pre purchase inspections done on other vehicle I am used to getting ALL potential concerns reported. It was admitted to us by the potential seller, prior to going to Driver’s Auto Repair, that the vehicle was hit & he showed us where the damage was on the rear (minor but noticeable). That piece of information was NOT on the report, but no big deal as it was just cosmetic. They seemed to be a little short staffed as it took awhile to get the truck down from the lift back to our possession after this report was given to us. By this time the potential seller was disappointed with the expectations vs realities of this experience. Fast forward, with the new confidence acquired from this pre purchase inspection my step dad purchased the truck that same day (Friday). He took his “new to him” truck to get a state inspection on Sunday. It FAILED. The company gave him some advice on how to possibly get a pass & told him they could get the re-inspection for free. He did as they said & you guessed it, FAILED again. Drivers is closed on Sunday but the answering service company took my info for a call back. Of course I didn’t get one so Monday morning I called Driver’s. I was told to email over the inspection report & they’d have the mechanic look over it. Longer story short; we are being told the issues/codes picked up on the inspection are not apart of the pre purchase inspection & that basically we’ve just wasted time & money trying to get that inspection done. The other company who did the state inspection informed us that when they do a pre purchase inspection that is something they check. So now, I’m looking back at the missed damage to the body & the incomplete “total head to toe” pre purchase inspection & wondering what else was missed. My step father is extremely dissatisfied with this experience as a whole & I really have no explanation worth a damn to give them as to why this wasn’t caught when we paid for a pre purchase inspection. The rep I’ve been in contact with via text hasn’t given any indication that he/they have any plans to rectify this as evident by when I asked his response was to keep driving it...shouldn’t that have been info given to us when we paid for the pre purchase BEFORE we went to go pay for a state inspection?? The GM Lauren was professional with awesome customer service but the experience at Driver’s left much to be desired. I can not recommend this shop, save your money & go else where.

Went for a state inspection and was positively impressed by this place. The staff were friendly and very professional. The facility was clean with nice areas. The service area was clean and orderly. The service rep discussed my vehicle with me and made good suggestions for future service. My inspection was completed without a long wait time ant my vehicle was returned to me in good condition. I will continue to use this shop and can recommend them to others.

Never have I been witness to a blantant level of disrespect as was my experience this morning. The manager, Santa Claus, would not acknowledge me until I addresses him. The issue was a concern I had about a stripped oil filter cap, and the charge for labor in replacing it. I was fine with paying for the replacement cap. My issue was that that I had brought my car to change the oil here the last three times and that they responsible for overtightening the part. The technician and the front counter staff were respectful and attentive, as was I. I understood her points, but I asked to speak with the corporate office for further conversation. She said she would speak with them and see if there's anything else that could be done. Santa Claus came out and told her that if he doesn't like it, he could do it himself and started to walk away. I told Santa Claus that it was rude not addressing me. He proceeded to tell me to leave. I shared with the employees how sorry I was that they worked with him. If he had this level of disrespect for me, I can't even imagine how he was with them. The reason I call him Santa Clause is because when I asked for his name, he stated it was SANTA CLAUSE.
